We cannot recommend this venue enough - especially for those looking for their fairytale wedding venue! My husband and I found CMC from an internet hunt, and set up a call with the CMC team shortly after. Victoria was who we met with and our point of contact from that day forward. After video meeting with Victoria, we knew this was the place due to her ability to answer all of our questions (we had a long list) with such poise and kindness. We were definitely nervous at first due to being in America and booking a venue for the most important day of our lives site unseen. Victoria reassured us and made us so confident in our process. Fast forward through all of the meticulous planning and constant communication from Victoria - which brings us to the best weekend of our lives!! We arrived the Thursday before our wedding along with the rest of our guests (CMC has enough space for all of your wedding guests to stay on property too!!) to be so taken back with the beauty of the venue. Photos and videos do no justice to how stunning the properties are. Not to mention, the location is a quick ten minute drive or Uber to the beaches and Lagos! On Friday CMC hosted our welcome dinner - which provided AMAZING pizza and a beautiful setting. Our wedding day went by without a single issue (the CMC team handled any and all things leaving us with no worries), and more beautiful than we could imagine. Victoria coordinated our florals, and decor - exceeding our expectations completely. Steve cooked the tastiest wedding food we’ve ever had, and all of our wedding guests agreed!! I can’t thank the CMC team enough for the absolutely perfect day!! Anyone thinking of booking this venue for a wedding - run do not walk to get your wedding scheduled!! You will have the most perfect day, with the most amazing team taking care of you every single step of the way. Not only did our wedding events come out perfect all of our guests had the most amazing weekend too!! Made our wedding planning experience a dream. We had the privilege of celebrating our wedding at this exceptional venue in September 2024. Victoria, Steve and all the Casa Monte Cristo team planned every element of our special day with meticulous detail and was on hand to guide us every step of the way. A big shout out to Wes & Duane the DJs who got the party started and entertained us all night, even better to find out they were fellow mancs! The food, where do we start.... our guests commented this was the best wedding buffet they have ever had. Steve can tell you where every locally sourced product came from along with the ingredients which is great for anyone with allergies and intolerances. All i can say no one will be left hungry. The flexible villa set up worked perfectly for our wedding party of 30. The luxury villas are finished to the highest quality, contained everything you could possibly need and provided lots of space and safe grounds for everyone in the family. If you are looking to avoid the stresses of a wedding in the UK, I cannot recommend Casa Monte Cristo highly enough. Their experience, dedication and attentiveness shows and made our wedding planning experience a dream.

Everything was amazing, completely above & beyond any of our expectations! It's been nearly 2 weeks since we arrived at the most incredible Wedding Venue for our 4 day celebrations. Casa Monte Cristo In Lagos simply blew us away from start to finish. Victoria & Steve and their team Deliver above all expectations on every level. Not only are the Villas Beautiful, clean & well presented inside and out, the planning and preparation that goes into their events is outstanding! We set our trust in Victoria 20 months in advance when booking our venue... and she has been there every step of the way to help and guide! She organises everything with you, from photographer and florist recommendations, helping plan your run of the day (week), DJ & music Collaboration, and all the extra events too .. and all executed to perfection. We booked 3 Villas, Tres, Cinco & Seis & had 40 guests. We had a welcome Pizza Party the day before the wedding at our Villa... Tres Villa, and watched that afternoon as the gardens were transformed, we had breakfast delivered to our guest's Villas on the morning of the Wedding, Our Wedding Day & Drinks Reception at Tres Villa, & then the BBQ and Party at Wedding Land, (a fabulous purpose build Marquee area) the next morning we had a late Brunch for everyone in the Marquee too! The food was INSANE! Steve is a genius, the BBQ is an event in itself, they catered for all our guests with no questions asked and some of them were a little tricky too! Everyone raved about the food and we all ate like Kings and Queens for the week! Victoria is just the most amazing person, and she was there every step of the way & on the day too! She knew exactly what we needed and we didn't need to ask, she was always just there when we needed her, taking it all in and noticing the small things, but so relaxed it felt like she was part of our family! Now I'm a Virgo, I love to plan, im a list maker, I love sharpies and I love to have everything perfect and I put my heart and soul into the planning of our wedding.... my trust with Victoria there, I didn't have to worry.... Everything was timed to perfection, everything went so smoothly and we have a 2 year old!! The whole team were incredible with our little boy too! Nothing was too much trouble! We could not have asked for a more perfect venue and hosts for our Wedding, and we WILL be back to celebrate future anniversaries! All of our friends and family want to come back too! What made our perfect wedding was having All of our Family & Friends fly out to join us ... this was truly so special... but none of this could have been possible if we hadn't have found Casa Monte Cristo! In the words of my Husband... 'if Carlsberg did Weddings... it wouldn't be a patch on CMCVillas' It was our dream wedding! A week we will never forget!

Amazing Wedding Venue We recently hosted our wedding at Casa Monte Cristo, and I cannot express how perfect everything was! From start to finish, the entire experience exceeded our expectations. The venue itself is absolutely stunning, with a breathtaking setting that created the perfect atmosphere for our special day. The staff were phenomenal-friendly, attentive, and went above and beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly. We felt completely taken care of, and their attention to detail made everything feel effortless. The decor and ambiance of the venue were gorgeous, making the day feel like a dream. Every corner of the venue was beautifully arranged, and the setting made for the most beautiful backdrop for photos. The food and drink were incredible, especially the Pizza Party on Sunday! Our guests raved about the catering, and we couldn't have been happier with the delicious variety that was offered. In terms of planning and organisation, everything was spot on. The team at Casa Monte Cristo made the whole process feel calm and easy, which is something every couple hopes for on their wedding day! From the planning stages to the actual event, everything was seamless. We particularly loved how painless and relaxed the entire day felt. Every aspect was handled so professionally, allowing us to simply enjoy our day without a worry. We would 1000% recommend Casa Monte Cristo to anyone looking for a wedding venue in Portugal. My wife and I rented all six villas of the CMC Collection in April 2023 to host our wedding and we could not be happier!! Beyond a beautiful location and incredible accommodations, the CMC team did such a great job to make our big day so special. Victoria was the perfect wedding planner and host! As a destination wedding for us and our guests, Victoria helped us every stop of the way in the lead up planning our events and selecting vendors, as well as during the weekend to ensure everything was running smoothly and that all guests were comfortable. Steve is an extremely talented chef who cooked incredible food for each of the four days of our wedding weekend- welcome pizza night, rehearsal dinner, wedding barbecue, and brunch. Each bite was better than the last and he was extremely accommodating of allergies and dietary restrictions. I seriously can't speak highly enough of Victoria, Steve, and the entire CMC team, they were such a pleasure to work with!! We first came across the Casa Monte Cristo Collection about 18 months ago when looking for wedding venues in the Algarve. Straight away Victoria was easy to communicate with and gave us all the information we needed about the venue without any pressure or sales pitch! We went out to view the venue (alongside others) and were absolutely blown away. Due to numbers in our party we opted to have our ceremony at CMC Tres. Again there was no pressure to book from Victoria but we knew no other venue we had seen compared. Fast forward through the wedding planning and Victoria just made everything so easy and smooth! She made it so smooth that at one point I phoned her because I felt I needed to be more stressed! She made planning a Portuguese wedding from Scotland so easy and care-free, arranging stationary and flowers without a second thought and replying to my many many emails! No changes or issues were ever a bother for her - even down to the fact we increased our numbers about 3 days before the wedding!! Onto the venue itself, we stayed with our immediate family in Tres which is honestly just the most stunning, beautiful, perfect place. Everyone’s jaw dropped on arrival and it just had everything we could have possibly needed. Our ceremony was at Tres and again our guests were all just blown away with the location with our evening party being at Cinco and again wow!! No words do this place justice! Throughout the whole day Victoria was on hand - never overbearing or bothering but just a quiet calming presence sorting things we didn’t even know needed sorted! From getting me into my dress, printing our readings, collecting our cards, getting my flowers into water - the list could go on! Put it this way - she got a shout out in my dads speech!! The day itself was absolutely perfect! Every member of staff was beyond delightful and helpful and just the absolute best! The ceremony set up and location was dreamy, drinks were just beautiful and the evening bit was just perfect - this was all set up by Victoria and her team with legit about 3 Pinterest photos from me and it was everything I could have ever wanted! Now onto the bbq!!! You have never tasted food this good! I can guarantee this. I think a lot of my guests had images of burnt burgers and classic British bbq but if you haven’t had a Portuguese bbq then you have to and Steve’s is the one to start with! Every single guest was raving about the food! I am still dreaming about the food! It’s amazing! Hands down the best! Book it for this alone!!! We then had a lovely chilled day by the pool the day after our wedding and again our guests couldn’t stop raving at how beautiful it is! Our day felt like a dream and was absolutely perfect!! Honestly don’t hesitate and just book CMC now!!!

Pretty much everything about the wedding, was amazing. First of all, the venue(s) are perfect, there are staff available at all times to help out with any problems, replenish the bar, answer questions and generally keep everything tidy. Victoria was able to help with any last minute requests I had and made sure everything ran very smoothly on the actual wedding day. The communication was seamless and the wedding went exactly how we expected / wanted. The villas are beautiful and on the rare occasion there was an issue, e.g. the lights didn't work in the outdoor kitchen, Victoria was very quick to sort this out for us and called out an electrician immediately. It is the perfect venue for a villa wedding and I would recommend it in a heartbeat. The only slight and it is, very slight, "issue" is that the venue have a strict 11pm cut off time for the wedding, which we knew about and isn't a big problem, but, make sure your DJ knows the cut off time as ours claimed not to know and then didn't get to play a "last song" which made the night feel like it ended quite abruptly. Overall though, it was amazing!

rom beginning to end Victoria at Casa Monte Cristo has been fabulous. We didn't actually see the venue until a year after we booked, and it totally surpassed our already high expectations. No question was too much for her, and the entire team there are all fabulous. The villas are gorgeous, and the setting is perfect for the big day. As a control freak it takes a lot for me to trust someone with a task like this, but the entire time was amazing and ran so smoothly, that as the couple, you get to actually enjoy your day and relax!

We had our Wedding at Casa Monte Cristo on the 5th of May 2023, and it really was the wedding of our dreams! We booked four villas and all of the apartments for our 60 guests + 4 children. We loved that all of the villas were located near by each other which made it possible for us to walk between them. This is what made us choose Casa Monte Cristo for our wedding. The fact that all of our guests could stay at the same place. The villas were even more luxurious than they looked at the pictures. Everything was so clean and well maintained. My husband and I live in Sweden and had to book and plan the whole wedding from distance using only email. We booked the venue in November 2021 and have had contact with Victoria through email since then. She has been very professional and we felt so secure with her organising everything and reminding us of details we wouldn’t have thought of ourselves. All of our guests have complimented us on the amazing villas, the location and especially the beautiful wedding day. The food was so good and we had the best DJ! Some of our guests had rented cars but most of them used Uber or Bolt if they wanted to go to town or order some food. It was never a problem with this! Victoria also arranged transfer to pick up19 of our guests from the airport on the same day. We are still chocked by how great everything turned out and that we got to have our absolute dream wedding. If you are dreaming of having a destination wedding instead of getting married in a cold country like Sweden, this is the place to book!
