Duda Desrosiers | Destination Wedding Photographer

I'm Duda, a wedding and lifestyle photographer who’s been capturing love in all its forms since 2012. My journey with photography started long before that - before I was even ten, I was already the family photographer, documenting every little moment (and yes, breaking a few film negatives along the way). What began as childhood curiosity has turned into a lifelong passion and career.

I’m originally from Brazil but now split my time between France and Portugal. Living between these cultures constantly inspires me and influences my style, which leans romantic, cinematic, and full of feeling. I draw a lot from classic French movies—the kind that makes you feel something just from the way the light falls or a glance is shared. That’s the energy I try to bring into my work: authentic, emotional, and timeless.

My background includes a university degree in photography and a second degree in Art Education. I also worked as a teacher for three years before fully diving into photography. That teaching experience helped me develop patience and an eye for detail - both essential when it comes to capturing meaningful moments.

Outside of work, I’m a Gryffindor (with all the courage-in-progress that implies), a soft believer in astrology (Leos are supposed to be creative and social, right?), and a massive Harry Potter fan. And even though I adore pizza and gelato, Brazilian food will always have my heart.
