   Malta is an island country situated in the central Mediterranean Sea. Its history and culture is closely connected with both North Africa and Europe. Malta is 27 kilometres (17 mi) long and 14.5 kilometres (9 mi) wide. This country is a member of the European Union (EU) and it’s a part of the Schengen Area. 

   The best reasons to visit Malta:

   1. Some of the oldest freestanding megalithic temples in the world are located in Malta. And they are even older than Stonehenge! If you are fond of history, Malta is a place to visit for you! You will fall in love with Mdina because of its old houses, narrow beautiful pathways. Mdina’s architecture is a mix of Norman and Baroque styles.
   2. Malta has very nice and mild climate. This island experiences about 360 days of sun. But the best time for visiting is early summer and late spring: it’s not so hot and there are not a lot of tourists. You will have an opportunity to swim and feel comfortable.
   3. This amazing island is famous for its night life. If you’re looking for relaxing, good drinks with friends and just party – Malta is an ideal place for you! A big choice of clubs and bars you can find in Paceville or Bugibba, and you can just move from one club to another during a night.

   4. Beaches in Malta are amazing! They’re sandy, beautiful and one of the most clear in Europe. Malta is a good place for diving. Also you can enjoy sailing, snorkelling kayaking.
