Even if you are very good at improvisation, the wedding speech should be perfectly thought over. So, here are some tips which can be useful to write and represent a good wedding speech.

   1. Make notes.
The best improvisation is that, which is prepared in advance. Before you start to make notes, imagine the person you will talk to and, at first, describe shortly all the feelings that you have for this person. Then circle or underline the most sensitive and the most pleasant things about the person!

   2. Organize the structure.
A good wedding speech is not a simple story, it’s a letter to the person you love, so you need to think carefully about its structure. All good romantic letters have a beginning or greeting, a middle part, and an end. Your wedding speech will be more clear if you will follow those paragraphs from the structure.

   3. Balance humour with emotion.
Speech with a sense of humor is a brilliant way to engage the right person with your speech. But you should remember one thing: a wedding speech is not a stand-up comedy, it is a serious issue. So, you might start out with a good joke to melt the ice, but then keep your mind open and say serious and sensitive things to your partner.

   4. No drunk speeches!

No matter how nervous you are, it’s not wise to get drunk for staying calm. Representing the wedding speech being drunk is a recipe for disaster - you just will make your partner confused and will become confused too. So, first the wedding vow, then cocktails! (part 2...)
