La Pascasia, one of the first inns in Castilla y León lands, began to give housing and subsistence to the travelers, who were arriving to Sanabria, at the second half of the 19th century. It is placed in one of the most important porticoed buildings of the Historic Artistic Site of Puebla de Sanabria whose origin goes back to the 17th century.
Even today the senses recall other times, perceiving from its corridors and galleries the “Sierra de la Culebra”, the Galician - Portuguese mountains and the river “Tera”, breathing the old smells of slaughter and traditional stews in its centenary girders and walls of stone slabs, listening to the silence of the Villa and caressing with the fingers the smoothness and the roughness of the air and the light that penetrate in its rooms.
Seven places, seven spaces for the rest and the enjoyment of the centenary architecture and the vanguard furniture, of the water from the mountain range that enters across the modern Jacuzzis and hydro massage showers, of the glass of the wood, of the iron of the tranquility, of the horizon.
The old medieval cellars, natural fridges of other times, complete the gastronomic offer mixing usual flavors with the new trends.
We wish that the emeralds’ well of our Tavern, in other times water supplier, does your dreams will come true.
